Privacy Policy

1. Overview

HearMyVoice is a practice tool for recording, replaying, and organizing your voice. The app does not require an account and does not collect or send personal information or recordings to a developer-operated server.

2. Data stored on the device

The app stores recordings or imported audio; titles, categories, and tags; notes, scripts, presets, language, and playback settings on your device to provide its features. This information is not sent to a developer-operated server. If you enable optional iCloud sync on iPhone or iPad, some information is also stored in iCloud as explained below.

Optional iCloud sync (iPhone, iPad and Mac)

If a HearMyVoice Pro user enables iCloud sync in Settings, recordings and their titles, dates, categories, tags, waveforms and reflections, plus notes and scripts, are stored in the user's private Apple CloudKit database and synced across devices using the same Apple account. This feature requires iCloud access through an Apple account; no HearMyVoice account is required.

Sync is optional. Recordings and notes are not collected by a developer-operated server. Apple's applicable terms and privacy policy govern iCloud storage and processing. Sync identifiers, change timestamps and related connection state are used on the device and in that private database to provide sync and handle conflicts.

3. Microphone

Microphone access is requested only to record audio. Recordings are stored on the device by default. If you share a recording or enable optional iCloud sync, it may be sent to your chosen sharing destination or iCloud.

Mac transcription and optional AI connection (MCP)

On supported Macs, Apple's on-device speech recognition creates editable transcripts. Language assets may need to be downloaded, and transcripts may be inaccurate.

AI connectivity is off by default. After you enable local MCP and configure an AI client, that client can read and edit shared practice sessions, scripts, notes and permitted recording information. Enabling MCP initially also enables whole-library metadata access, which you can turn off. Full category/tag lists and management, and transcription requests/text access, are separate choices. Pro enables processing of shared-session reflections and AI suggestions. You start the microphone yourself.

These permissions do not include original audio. Only a recording that you separately allow in a shared session can be read as original audio by the connected client. That permission ends when the app quits, MCP is disabled or the session is unshared. General connection and access choices are remembered on this Mac and cleared when you explicitly disable MCP.

Your AI client may process permitted text, metadata, feedback and separately authorized original audio on an external AI provider's servers. Recipients, retention and deletion depend on the client and provider you choose. Review their policies before connecting. Revoking permission or deleting data in the app blocks future access but cannot retrieve or delete copies already transferred. Request deletion of those copies from the receiving service. The app does not include an AI voice-scoring engine; the optional coaching skill is an instruction file.

4. In-app purchases

Monthly subscriptions and lifetime purchases for HearMyVoice Pro are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. The developer does not collect or store payment card or billing details. The app reads Apple-provided transaction and entitlement information to unlock Pro features and restore purchases.

5. Sharing and imported files

If you use sharing, the selected audio file may be sent to the app or service you choose. Importing audio accesses only the file you select.

6. Deletion

You can delete individual recordings in History. When iCloud sync is enabled, recording deletions sync to your connected devices. Turning off sync or deleting the app does not automatically delete data already stored in iCloud. Removing the app may remove local app data according to the operating system’s policy.

8. Analytics on this website

To improve its information pages, Andymion Lab counts page views and product store-button clicks on andymion.com. Only totals by Korean calendar date, predefined page path, product, store and button position are stored. Individual event histories are not retained. These counts are not unique visitors or confirmed app installations or purchases.

This analytics feature uses no analytics cookies, visitor identifiers or device fingerprints. If you explicitly choose to exclude your visits, a boolean preference is saved in local storage for this browser profile and site address only. The preference is not sent to the server and does not identify you. Ordinary visits do not write to local storage. Its database does not store IP addresses, user agents, referrers, raw URL query parameters or form input. Promotional links contain a shared content code; only a validated content code is used in aggregate counts. It does not identify visitors. When an Apple campaign link is configured, the code is passed to the App Store. Requests are not sent when the browser signals DNT or GPC. Blocking, repeat clicks and automated traffic can affect counts.

Cloudflare hosts the website and processes these counters. Cloudflare may process connection information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure web requests, separately from this analytics database. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
